A comedic motion graphics explainer video providing a concise overview of the business missteps leading to Yahoo's fall from its initial dominance over internet search tools. The presentation features a highly stylized, exaggerated rendition of the Windows XP user interface combined with classic early internet visuals.
The ‘operating system’ that the video takes place in consists of a library of custom edited assets from Windows XP. The video starts with a primarily blue color scheme, with hints of red. However, after each subsequent business mistake, the OS becomes more and more red, up until the system ‘crashes’.
